I had a TZ for 6 years and only just recently sold it. Took me about 3 months to grow on me and then became my favorite. I never found it to be too stop & go like others do. I initially found it to be not open enough but once you understand the rules and then strategies you'll find out why it's rated number 1 and has been for a long time

It has some neat toys, especially the power field (which never gets old and cannot be mastered) & the powerball but what I like most is the ruleset and how the shot layout is done. little things like how the left ramp feeds the left flipper but lights the piano shot which is shootable from the top left flipper but to feed the upper left flipper you shoot the right ramp (from the left flipper) so it has forced you into a combination which is satisfying when done but there is more as the right ramp shot also temporarily lights the slot shot which is also shootable from left flipper.. So you have a decision to make on what to go for. Sounds confusing but this type of thought in the shot layout/ ruleset makes it great

Deep great game for sure and you need to play it a lot before you'll appreciate it. I think this is why a lot of people don't like it as they haven't played it enough and therefore don't "get it"

Also every shot you make then lights something else, so there is always something to shoot for and strategy in how you play
