I'd rather feel guilty than swamped. (I'm lazy and don't care what anybody thinks about it)
I'd rather be groggy than sleepy.
I'd rather be over-full than hungry.
I'd rather be angry than depressed.
I'd rather be struggling to understand than be bored.
I'd rather be short of space than homeless.
I'd rather be lonely than married. (hehe)

I think more often than not it's a choice of one form of suffering or another. There's probably a balanced place in the center for everything, but it's as thin as a razor's edge and you're quickly deep into one side or the other. Just part of the human condition I guess.

I feel more like I do now than I did when I first got here.
