No third flash means u8( 5101) ram chip or its socket is bad. 
Try reseating this chip if its socketed!
Also get rid of the battery use a remote battery box or better still a 1FRD 5v Memory Capacitor can be soldered onto the board and never needs replacing and wont leak like a battery which is most likely the cause of your problem!
