What happened? Listing appears to have ended early, with the seller pulling the plug.Also I was searching Star Trek on Pinpedia for past auction results, and I was surprised to see this pin was listed before with an apparent sale of $2,950 back in January. The winning bid then (and there was only one bid) was from a buyer with a feedback of 2 http://offer.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&_trksid=p4340.l2565&rt=nc&item=200698280312. Hard to say, could be legit, but who knows.
