So after completion of pinball #1 for JJP you would expect them to ride the wave on a high for some time before marketing another title. Milk it for all it's worth so to speak. Jack has talked up and demonstrated time and time again he's aiming for quality rather than quantity, so I'm not really surprised it's taking longer on the product than some may expect. After all he's not just building a pinball machine, he's building a company from the ground up.
