Very nice win by the BLUES as well, any team that beats boring collingwood is great but the BLUES...AWESOME!!. They are the beat team in fumbleball afl..sweeet!! Nice collect on the BLUES BRONCOS double last night...happy camper, you betcha.
GF doubles( WINNERS)..BLUES and BRONCOS - BLUES AND STORM.
Boring Collingwood! obviously doesn't watch much, or understand Afl footy.
What do you expect from the bum sniffers ? The only game where you have to go backwards to go forwards
Even Soccer is more skillful.
Played them all as a kid/ teenager thanks very much unlike most or any of the nerds here I bet.
afl is good for aerobic skill and stamina, thats it.
It is about as tough a soft banana...gimme a break.
bum sniffers..
backward to go forwards
The same old lame sledges from people who have prob never even played ONE sport and played it well let alone heaps!
More skill more mental and physical toughness required for league, that is just a fact.
a point for missing...now thats funny..
push push shove shove...now thats funny
fumble fumble fumble..now thats funny.
if your not at a afl game it is about as exciting as watching paint dry on tv.
Go BRONCOS!
I played indoor soccer for the Victorian team in the early ninties. I can play soccer, but I don't like the game.
I played Fitzroy U19s as a 16 year old. I also trained with Collingwood, but gave the game away as I dreaded the thought playing for collingwood after my area was rezoned. Also had invitations from Carlton and Essendon. This is as a junior.
I would never play rugby, as the idea of sticking my head up someones butt and then gang tackling cavemen is not a sport. It's a combination of WWE Wrestling and a fart smelling contest.
Seriously, I think the comparison between the codes is a great topic for discussion. The games I've been to this year attracted 78,000 (Carlton), 60,000 (Collingwood) and 50,000 (Melbourne). The crowd numbers of Rugby League can only DREAM of getting those figures for home and away games. I think 5 games combined would not even reach 78,000. But the real proof is watching the "elite" League players changing codes (Failau and Hunt) to AFL are struggling to adapt to a sport that relies on skill and stamina. If it were not for their marketing value, they would be in a local league.
Melbourne has embraced the Storm, and we are the "sport mad" capital of Australia, but the code can never compete with AFL. No matter what code you prefer, AFL is streets ahead.
