Not sure how the producers of this show work.......maybe someone should do a half job on them to find out?  

like everything these days more than likely they are given the products for free from the company as they do show brand names of what they are cutting up. its like everything advertising discised as a doco, they seem to only cut up high end stuff also. you can always tel lwith s discovery show if its product placement or not, as they will show the brand name, if not they blur out the brand name. discovery is just pushing the boundry at the moment of becoming a bit of a joke imo. they will cross that line very shortly i predict
