If you spent over 18K on 2 machines that were brand new and they didnt work you wouldnt bother sending a polite letter of disappointment to the manufacturer? I've done them a favour by spending 5 hours already repairing the machines. Unfortunately I dont have replacement boards or motors for the remaining issues.

I think Stern owe you at the very least a very huge SORRY.
There is no excuse for this at all.
[/quote]Keep avoiding what questions,I am not on this forum every minute of the day.
I work full time in the industry as a tech/ service manager and unbox most new Sterns before sending to our customers because most have faults from the factory. I have contacted my local distributor,I bought them through him and he is going to handle the situation(a nice guy). I sent a letter of disappointment to Stern,I dont blame the Aussie distrubutor for the faults I have, they didnt build the machines.
I like others have been waiting for this pin to arrive and of course it is disappointing to open and have 2 pins with varies factory faults.
Cavey,I will not take 2 new machines back to the distributor, high risk of scratching/damaging.
About 5 hours was spent fault finding, adjusting and diagnosing faults and giving information to the distributor so he knows what faulty parts to send. I have done nothing to void warranty,no assmeblies, boards or parts removed. I will report back with the final outcome when all is good, meanwhile I wait patiently.

Hi Silverball,

You still keep avoiding the questions!!! What have you done that would take you five hours to fix? Seems an awful long time and must of had some serious problems for you to have spent that long and still not fixed it. For a technician, faulty motor diagnosis does not take long time to work out and for the supposeably faulty board, you AMD agent in Melbourne would of been able to sort that one out for you. Perhaps you should try contacting him, that would be the courteous thing to do if all these problems are happening to your games. Thats unless you railroaded them in, which in turn would leave you no warranty on your games and totally explain why your games are not working here in Australia properly. Would also love to see Gary Sterns reply to you when you get it back from him. And he will reply. If he doesnt, be sure to send me your build model numbers and serial numbers of the games and I will definately get the right answers for you.
