Just come back from seeing this film... you guys are right.. its a bloody cracker and would make a GREAT pinball machine.
One thing that struck me during the film.. theres just as much action as the transformers films, but i can see whats going on.. Transformers was a big blur for me.
Loving the Marvel films.. bring on the next one and its made me extra keen to get my Spiderman finished ( even though he's not in this film.. but it is classic comic book and great pop art)
Spidey does become part of the Avengers in the comic books down the track but seeing that the 2 franchises are owned by different studios it could be a big hurdle to get the webslinger involved in future sequels. I would love to see spidey in there too, they are working on it...fingers crossed but with another spiderman reboot this year it looks unlikely but you never know.
The difference between TF and Avengers films comes down to the screenplays and directors...Whedon can direct and Bay is well he is Bay and his films apart from the original Bad Boys and The Rock are pretty ordinary. If Whedon had done Transformers they would have been much better films.
The best thing for me about the Avengers besides from the fantastic dialogue and action you can follow is seeing Scarlett Johansen in that skin tight leather...damn she is soooo hot!
Lets hope that Stern get this done and give it the full treatment.
I'm keen to see your spidey when it is finnished!
