A pinsider was at the factory on the weekend and was lucky enough to play the LE so left a little review after playing 3 games.

"My wife and I were in Chicago over the weekend and we decided to see the Stern factory before we drove back home. We had a tour set up yesterday with Jody (sp?) but due to the storms in the area on sunday there were some power issues and some of the front office folks were not around. I was about to hang my head and leave when out of nowhere the man himself Mr. Gary Stern walks out of the office and says he will take us on a tour, but he needed a few minutes so he let us go into this dark little game room and behold there is a Wolverine LE sitting there. We got to play a few games while he finished up some work and then gave us a tour of the place. I was a little in awe the whole time....it was awesome and I could not thank Gary enough for taking time out of his day for us!

Now for the good stuff. I'm still a bit of a noob but I tried to pay attention while we played. Here's what I do know:
- We started a 2 ball and a 3 ball Magneto multiball.
- The spinner is similar to Twister when multiball is started, but it does seem to spin a tad slower and the balls don't whip around quite as violently. Also, the spinner seemed to kick on quite a bit so it seemed pretty integral....i'm not sure I'd want the Pro after playing the LE.
- I got the Nightcrawler pop ups started once but lost my ball right away. They did pop up and down one at a time pretty quickly.
- I hit the Iceman ramp a few times but never got the ramp to move.
- I would compare the Wolverine bash toy to the Balrog in LOTR. It seemed kinda big at first but after playing I don't think you'd want him to be any smaller.
- Gary said the LE's will start shipping at the end of this week. (I have the Wolverine LE on order so was happy to hear this)
- I also asked him if the next pin is Avengers and he said the next pin will be..............."released in the fall". At least I tried "

in addition some info has been leaked out that 115 of Wolverine and 115 Magneto will be going overseas - so suppose only AMD could tell us how many of those made it to Aus.
