I have currently done this but I don't like the result. It's for j115 I think (they are all yellow wires on the t2) where the wires are a bit thicker than say the GI wires. So I find the pin doesn't seat well inside the connector because there is no room for the thickness of two wires. I can tug the pin out with little force. That's why I thought I'd ask for some opinions.

I have done this many times and never have a problem. (of course when i first started doing it, it took a couple of goes to get it right but once i got the method right i didn't have any problems)
there are a few tricks to it though, if the pin is coming out that means the little lug that keeps it in is not engaging properly, try bending this out a little bit so it catches on the plastic properly.
If i get a chance today I will do up a guide, take some photos and put it on my web site and in the hints and tips section on this forum.
