Completed the glue removal and it took about 2 hours to do the job. I'll take you through the steps I took with great results.

Step 1 - sprinkle some flour over the area and spread itwith your fingers to highlight the glue
Step 2 - I put a little Alcohol and rub lightly to wet the flour and start the process going. It feels really gritty but I found it enables the alcohol to soften the glue and the flour to bind to it
Step 3 - I sprinkle a little more flour on and start rubbing. The glue will form balls with the flour and come off the playfield. The playfield will start the feel smoother
Step 4 - I sprinkle more flour on to see if there is anything I missed and if so rub that area to remove it. The flayfield should start to feel light rubbing glass
