Yes, AC/DC would go well in a bar, but most machines aimed at the older player have flopped badly
None of those themes are dorky, the point was looking/being a dork in the local bar, if Gary wants pub sited games Star Trek is not going to make big money for any operator. Yes some people will play it, even some who aren't dorks
