Working perfectly now, it was a chip out of the cam follower plastic on the impulse stack - score motor. I repaired it until I can find a replacement part.
The 500 light bonus fault was with the 3000 bonus relay which needed adjusting.
Nice find on the impulse stack .. that fault must have done your head in
