The game was drop target heaven. Stern had designers create shots where you could hit all three targets on a target bank from 90 degrees to the flippers. Absolute magic to knock over targets this way. I think this title is the fastest Classic Stern ever made - Galaxy was also a fast game as was Nineball. But Meteor was faster than ANY game from the Classic era. An absolute blast to play. I would recommend this title to anyone looking at their first SS game.
The drops always made me think of Joker Poker, but Meteor was JP on whatever James Hird was feeding the players last year........
