It is a Shame Melbourne doesn't have a stern distributor with a nice showroom imagine all the new games lined up and available to test before purchase, with WOZ I've heard it's in the showroom for anyone to test has anyone been in? I'd love to go in a check it out but not sure I can as I haven't bought one.

P:S- I bought my acdc off cash box and Leo did make it a very smooth transaction I was very happy.

PPS- the WOZ price I quoted was for the standard edition not the emerald city LE.

The amount of people who don't know they can buy a NIB is astounding. I'm firmly stuck in the 70s and 80s, but for the last month I've had to listen to a lot of the general pinball public's perception that there are no NEW pinballs being made. If there was a Stern showroom, then I would have sent at least a dozen people there in the last month. The iron's hot, but the distributors do NOTHING to promote sales. Not even a showroom. Where do I send these people ? They don't trust eBay sellers, all they want to do is PLAY a new game.

Imagine if there were no forums ? Would the distributors sell anything ?

We took our 7yo daughter yesterday with 18 friends to her birthday party at Kingpin, Campbelltown. They had a good time with Skirmish, Bowling and arcade games. There were about 60 various arcade games and amusements and not one pinball to be seen. I eventually found one hidden at a dark back corner all by its lonesome self where there was no traffic and hidden by the service counter (posted on sited pins). An LE Tron not looking busy at all.
A sad state of affairs for operator pinball in general. Pinball is no longer hunting potential players in the wild. It is only enthusiasts who hunt for the elusive machines hidden from view.
If you don't remember the 70s then you were on drugs.
If you remember playing pinball in the 70s you were having a good time.
If you don't remember anything,  then read about it here,
