Will normal paper hold up under extreme heat situations?

I am a photocopier technician so I can advise that the fusing section of a photocopier gets to around 200 degrees centigrade and paper goes through that no worries. A coil will not get anywhere near that temp but it will get pretty hot for a long period of time which will eventually burn the paper as the original coils do. In my estimation the paper used for coil wraps would be just normal paper. Having said this I know nothing about coil paper and am just voicing an opinion. Hope this helps in some way.
