Not sure if anyone has tried with a real Flash Gordon   ROM.

I haven't seen this before, thanks for sharing. It's a bit to different to the original for me though. I was thinking a board similar to the Pascal boards for Gottlieb system 1 machine which offer enchacements to the original sound with out completely modernising the machine would suit it better.
