One thing I reckon is definitely worth doing whilst in the USA, is visiting a Aircraft Carrier that is currently docked but still in active service.

That way you get to see the current F-18A Super Hornet Jets, the new F-22 Raptor Jets, various attack Helicopters, and the various arsenal of
military stuff on-board these beauties. The current crop of Nuclear Class Aircraft Carriers will blow your mind. Its not pinball, but the size of these floating airports will blow your mind, and its a must see during your lifetime if you like Military stuff.

and a big YES for Magic Mountain and every other theme park u can find.

Another gem, is to visit the Smithsonian Institute in Washington DC. That place will blow your mind. It is massive. Part of it was shown in the Transformers Movie. But its a seriously great place to visit for sure. It comprises many buildings, not just one. You will need a day but worthwhile x 100.

Something else I always find fun when visiting the USA, is I like to go into the Local FORD or CHEVY Dealerships and check out their latest cars.
I sat in a identical Yellow BumbleBee Comaro that u see in the Transformers movie. Nice.   Fun visiting the car dealerships if u are into cars and
its free ofcourse and its good collecting the brand new sales brochures for the USA models. I have a book of them here going back apx 20 years.
Hope something here is fun for you to look at.
