Be very careful anybody who is interested in the above Phantom of the Opera!!!!!!

The listing originally said that he had owned it for 20 + years..that would bring it to within 2 years of leaving site.
Complete fabrication! I saw the machine in the garage of Chris the Pinball Medic's garage in 2007 as he was selling it!

The machine came from somewhere dodgy, I believe Serbia and the entire cabinet has been replaced by low res, poor quality paper 'decals'!
Compare front of cab (look closely and you will see paper is lifting) to IPDB to see what it really supposed to look like. The backglass is abysmal when light is shining though. Zoom in on girls breastal area and legs to see the extent of the crazing in the glass. The phantoms face is just as bad behind the mask. Playfield has significant insert wear and outlane wear.

I let him know about all this and no response but changed years of ownership to 7 and removed the picture of the headbox when I sent him a link to how it really looks like.

Trust me guys, i have been after a Phantom for that many years and have always been disappointed. Either they are missing their backglass or have playfield wear or missing magic mirror or a combination of each. I've see 6 individual examples and watched 7 from my desk chair since 2007 and they are always missing something and this one was the worst I have seen. There is a nice one in WA and possibly a good one is QLD but those guys don't want to let them go.

If you are after a project one, contact Tony from the Pinball Shed. He is about to part out one. Only reason I didnt get that one was because of significant playfield wear. I am the king of Phantom's in Australia  &^& never found a good one yet.  ^.^
