For Cabinet repaints on EMs - I trim the felt protectors or use clear Pincabs - NOT the cheap junk (read below)

On SS Repaints, I use clear

On DMDs, I use color co-ordinated PinCab protectors. A trick with re decalled games - The cheap knock off decals (NOT Next Gen) will crease over time regardless, but with Next Gen, I always keep the legs loose when installing the Pincabs. The weight of the game must be held up by the legbolts. What I'm seeing a lot of is that the legs are tightened to the body with the machine off the ground (on a trolley). The legs are too far DOWN and then slip over time pushing the leg and Pincab protector UPWARDS, which pushes the decals UPWARDS over time - then you get the "creases". ALWAYS let the weight of the machine sit on the holes of the legs so the cabinet cannot slip down and stretch / crease the decal. Tighten the legbolts when there is no "give" or "play".

Cheap PinCab knock offs - STAY AWAY - these are VERY poorly made - the plastic is too rigid, and the angle is less than 90 degrees, so they DIG IN to the cabinet.

Great tip there Nino, I hadn't considered that when tightening the legs up.
