thanks nino, thanks dean.p.s. dean i have the wiring info that i needed, found it on-line.got to love this internet!i found some displays, bought from the u.s.reconditioned.i just hope the other 3 work.fingers crossed.I still need to change the other connectors, they have green pins.corroded.then assemble and power up.heaps to do,no drinking time.LOL.
awesome, glad to hear you got the info. If I can help further let me know. Also do you know these displays dim over time some almost to the point where they cant be seen but can be repaired by running a higher voltage thru the outside pins of the display glass. Do this by 6 to 12 volts (for 6-digit displays) or 6 to 9 volts (for 4-digit credit displays) to the outside pins (very left and very right pins). I do this by removing he dispay and connecting these two pins with alligator clips accross one of the bridge rectifers in the bottom of the cabinet. Check the voltage with a meter first as if you put a higher voltage than this thru the display it will damage it. Works great!
