Get yourself an account with a freight forwarder. I use Borderlinx but there are others.
http://www.borderlinx.com/If you buy items from several stores they'll re package your items for you and send them all in one parcel. This can save you a lot of money plus open up opportunities to buy from places which don't ship to Australia. There generally cheaper to ship with than many of the pinball suppliers in the US as well.
