Not quite sure about that
I have seen plenty black handles but mine is chrome plated alloy
Saying that the chrome is quite bad on mine so I suspect that happens to a lot of them and then they get painted black
One day I will get that and my T2 replated

Be nice if someone reproduced these, another common one missing or damaged is TFTC
