I bought some "white" rubbers from an Aus supplier a couple of months ago and they were the same as you describe.
They didn't seem to happy when I asked for money back, probably the same company.

I got caught by that as well added them to an order I needed, couldn't be bothered asking for a refund, just threw them in the bin and cut my losses   @.@

Me too. One time while Greg had "Gone Fishing" I brought some from an other Aussie supplier also and everyone was a various shade of yellow. Also brought some "new" globe holders all of which were rusted and some of which had solder on the lugs. To the suppliers credit they sent me some replacements but unfortunately they were all as bad as the original ones he sent. I ended up throwing it all out and waiting for the fish to stop biting. These days if RTBB doesn't have it I go overseas.
