I saw the original Transformers animated movie at the Pix.

I also have a weird memory of while it was in it's disused state for a number of years (what I would have given to explore the building) they had the same Sgt. Bilko movie poster up the entire time. So that probably gives an idea of exactly when it closed!

Miss the days when the Village had pinnies in it. When I was a younger lad, I can remember there being a Shadow, Getaway, Baywatch and I'm sure a few others there in it's lifetime. If only I was old enough them to appreciate them! And I can recall at least a Bride of Pinbot in Replay not that far away. Ah, when arcades were arcades and not miniature gambling halls for toddlers with redemption machines :(
