Pop Bumper parts arrived and by this time, I'd already dropped the playfield into the cabinet. It was working with the original board with the exception of a few switches. I'd spent enough time troubleshooting, so I ended up buying a Ni-Wumpf.

Ni-wumpfI bought this board from PBR as I was very sure that the Spider chip on the original was faulty. It is a very good board, and the support from Ni-Wumpf was very good. I had to contact them as the board was damaged in transit. David sent me the parts and I fixed it myself.
ALL the pins are repinned. I have a habit of writing that down on the connectors.
I also replaced the power supply 5V cap and connectors / pins
