I know it would probably look better with the just original wood finish or Tassie oak but for some reason I'm really stubborn about stuff like this
. I found a place nearby that has several different wood grain vinyls so I will take a rail along and see if I can get a match.
Good to know that it may be "American Oak", that info might come in handy.
