they're ok when done tastefully, but i tend to agree with you.
Agree too. I actually plan to take the LEDs *out* of my MM and MB (they came with them) as I prefer the less intense normal lamps.
if youre familiar with the maze of ramps on a demo man and the level of difficulty in getting to the globes under this mess, then youll understand why ive gone leds.
i use warm frosted colours to match the inserts under the playfield, which look pretty much like globes, in fact i cant tell the difference.
warm white frosted bulbs for GI all the way.
