The bluetac is pretty funny.  But I have to say I was wondering for a bit how to get the damn pop bumper lamps into those sockets recently.  You had to use a fair bit of force and I had visions of the globes shattering in my hand and cutting me.  I eventually got them in, but I can see why someone might have looked for an alternative solution to hold them in there - as stupid as their fix was.
