There's clearly a switch out of adjustment - and until this is fixed, I would remove those 6-32 nylon nuts and replace with the rubbers ones as you risk breaking the plastics - even though they are new plastics, I would not be running that risk.

Take the glass of and start a game. Gently drop the switch and see what happens. If nothing happens, tap the playfield in the vicinity. If it pops up, then it is a switch adjustment.
