I did not do the CC myself a mate did it for me. I didn't go into the detail, but from memory..I'm getting older...he told me he lightly block sanded with 800 grit, applied first 2 coats , block sanded and then applied 2 more. It was done in a booth and left to dry without heat.  I think even he was impressed on how good it came out - I know I was.
