ok,......as i dont have a schematic.....[if anyone reads this and has one or can do a copy]
she's goin,,,,but the b relay is pulled on.[anyone know what this is]to the extent she starts smokin..
no doubt there'll be other issues,...getting there but 
The "B" relay on my pioneer (around the same vintage) is one of the pop bumper relays. Maybe a stuck switch is causing it to lock on & smoke.
