I must add to the previous post that the neck was painted too. For some reason i forgot to take a pic of the finished product. You will get a glimpse of that later.  

Anyway, in between coats on the cab and hbox i used my time efficiently and started to prepare the legs for undercoat and then to go on with the top coat.

I stripped the legs back to bare metal of its ugly white paint. I gave them a light sand, cleaned them with Shellite and was on my way to spray the undercoat.

The first coat was a coat of spray putty and undercoat as one. Its a filler putty and undercoat in the one can. It fills and hides any little imperfections if applied correctly. Put it this way i was very happy with it.
