I know if I hooke up 5 machines to a power board with a breaker built into it, it will trip every time if you have all the machines switch on at once.(only on initial startup)
If you start each machine individually then the power board is OK and you can have all 5 machines playing at once with no issues.

+1 to Angelo. My 6 pins are all plugged into a surge protected power board and I've never had an issue even when my daughters 21st was in full flight. If I turn on the tumble dryer(which is on the same circut)it may pop the 16 amp circut breaker but the pins never have as long as I turn them on one at a time and let them "settle and self test".
