Hmm tough call.  By looking at those photos, the mylar is shagged but the diamond plate still looks OK.  That looks no different to where I started and I don't think I lifted anything.

Worst case - the insert decals are available - although the 250,000 one takes a bit of tweaking.  If the mylar is in bits (ie not one big sheet) I would go the hairdryer / goo remover nice and slow and I reckon it should be fine.  If no diamond plate I would be treading carefully.

Worst thing would be to rip into it.  Nino's done lots of mylar removal so he is the King for advice in that area.
