How far away from Melbourne airport are you? I think if and when you have your meet this old fella get his arse down there 
About an hours drive from the airport Tony but if you get a jetstar flight into avalon its only about 15mins 
Either way I am sure someone would give you a lift. I am 20 minutes from Tullamarine.
