Still kicking myself over this one...
Nino - i know you are after at least 1 woodrail for your collection - at the price of what? 2 cartons of decent beer this was an absolute steal!
Just a heads up for anyone who MAY be interested in grabbing one of these.
PBR sell ALL spares for them, so you CAN get them working.
The year of this machine - 1958 GTB had really carved their niche in the market as the #1 pinball manufacturer - much snappier bumpers, single action flippers ( GTB had these from approx 1950 onwards - Wms were still using impulse flippers till at least 54 - 55).
This reputation carried GTB right through the 60's and they were emulated by all other pinball manufacturers.
Also to note.. GTB games were always made to a specific budget. For this reason, single player games are the better ones. What was spent on extra steppers and score wheels was lost on PF action. So the REAL prize is a late 50's GTB single player. But in saying that.. there is nothing wrong with a 2 player like this one - still a great game. Anyone who plays a GTB from 50's is ALWAYS surprised just how snappy these games are - they are fast for their time.
And at $126.00 this really was the best deal ive seen on Ebay in 10 years of searching. Unbelievable!
Mate - I need a shoehorn to fit one more game in the garage.. Luckily, I've decided to move some of them into storage.. I'm still searching for that elusive Mermaid or Shoo Shoo LOL !
