First thing i did was check all the coils and good news thay all tested fine. Then following clays guide i tested the power supply which also tested good
. Then moved onto the Driver board and guess what everything tested good aswell
. The lamp drive board has some nasty corrosion on it so i didnt bother testing that. All these boards will be rebuilt and upgraded where needed before being re installed. So i decided id clean up the headbox first.
After stripping everything out ive cleaned the aliminium up with some windex on a rag then hit it with novus 2 for a bit if shine beeing careful not to damage the original paperwork.
