OK..With this fantastic weather today I've got a bit more done.

Today removed the old flippers completely, inc new coils, flipper bats, rubbers and full rebuild kit from Greg!   $!&

Put the new ones in (only second kit I've ever done), but this one seemed to go much smoothly from the last.  In and tested and both seem to work very well.

I reversed the mounting of the coils, as they were still in the factory positioning.  Also noticed some brown lock-tight in the hex nuts on the coil stop.  Not sure if it was factory or an OP but good to see them being thorough!
Also on the yellow caps, I stripped some thick auto wire and used the sheath on both ends, just to copy what had been done previously.

I think I noticed a bit of a factory 'uh-oh' which was interesting too.  On the r/h/s flipper assembly bracket, the left-hand upper bracket which should screw into the wood, hangs over a playfield insert?  I guess they didnt have autocad back then!
