Process of elimination. You say that the game resets or locks up when you activate the 10 point relay. Now I don't have a schematic - so I'm guessing - But you can slip a small piece of cardboard in between a set on contacts on the relay (I cannot recall how many contacts there are on this relay). What this does is leaves that set of contacts open. So by process of elimination - you can have the set of contacts open and find out which set is causing the problem. That's what I would do.
