I know its off topic. I was wondering if anybody else has had troubles with the dj head.
The machine i have been cleaning up has never had the head working.
In the head test it moves fine and all the optos work but when it turns all the way to the left the opto interupter plate moves(like slips on the shaft about 5 mm) then it won't hit its optos right and throws an error. I haven't looked to see if the opto interupters are available as a replacement part.
But was wondering if anybody has had this problem and had found out how to fix it. I was thinking of epoxy it to the shaft then it won't move...

I've heard of so many issues with the head that some operators used to turn the head off to avoid on site problems-if glueing it heaps give it a go
