I've never bought anything off eGay, and never will... Purely due to the fact i've heard too many horror stories from others.
Im also sick of these idiots who say to me, "you should look on ebay for this or that"... my response is usually along the lines of GET F**KED dont be F**kn STUPID!!
bottom line for me is.. If i cant see it and touch it in person then i dont want to buy it! be it a pinball or anything else.
