The texture is from the silkscreening of the original cabinets to wood directly.

When a laminated print is made, the finish is more glossy than the original and very smooth. But will never fade as the original with the UV protection on the laminate is usually guaranteed for 10 years in an outdoor environment.

If original artwork cannot be sourced, to redraw cabinet art would take a couple of days for even a skilled designer/artist.

Factor in the cost of ink, the artists time, cost of viynl and cost of laminate, you would have to punch out hundreds of decal sets at a minimum of $100 to break even.

To fill the inks on a Roland XC540, you would be looking at least $1200.

I would personally pay $300 for a set of decals that would never wear/fade again and have the protection of the laminate to boot.

I do not think that the price is an issue with the decal sets, just the quality must be as good, if not better than original
