Bit vague (and a bit early in the the morning) 
I would suggest naming the dealer would not be productive - so keeping that in mind, I think the buyer should join up and ask as many questions as he or she needs to get the game working. The are MANY of us that wait for "Repair" posts to help out.
Your joking Strangeways,how does it help future buyers to not know who these dealers are.That is the biggest load of crap i have ever heard.This guy bought a pin that was not as described and in poor condition,so why should he have to go through all the trouble to get it right.If it is bought from a private seller than you have to cop it,but from a dealer you expect more.Have been through this all before with a seller i named from Melbourne, and by the way to everyone who said to give him his right to reply 
i am still waiting.If this was purchased from a dealer i say name the MONGREL,it may prevent somebody else getting ripped off.
Punter - Keep in mind the context of my comments - I'm commenting as the site Admin, and I would appreciate the Dealer's name be left of this issue. I do understand your intent is to warn other members of the dealer's actions.
Naming the dealer will not solve the technical issues the machine has. It appears that the process of contacting the dealer for repairs has been done and has not worked out. If the said dealer is not a member here, or does not have a representative on the forum, they cannot really help, or defend themselves. There's always two sides for every story, and THIS story is a bit vague to say the least.
IF and I said "IF", the dealer found his name dragged through the mud on this site and decided to take legal action - Then what ??
I can guarantee, naming the dealer would cause the thread to turn into a crapfight, as there may be be people that may have had positive experiences with the dealer. We try to keep that sort of rubbish talk off the forums for good reason.
