Re: System 11 Siderails...?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone has (or knows where to find) a set of Williams System 11 era siderails. I'm refinishing my Funhouse cabinet at the moment, and would like to bring the machine up to how it looks on the flyer.

Even if someone had one rail laying around, i could get a set made up. Speaking of which, if any of the Geelong guys need any steel/metal work done, my father owns Reid Engineering - i'm sure he'd love to help you guys out with any pinball related stuff!

I should probably note, i'm not looking for someone to 'donate' a rail, i'm more than happy to buy it - and i'll be sure to start a restoration thread soon!

Thanks guys,

el_timbo

Hey el_timbo,

Took me a while to find a set.  I finished up getting mine from Germany www.bestofpinball.de

From memory shipping was more than the rails themselves..Totalled about $140AUD landed.  I was lucky they strapped the rails to lengths of wood as the box was crushed during shipping..

Marco's has similar rails, but I was told they are modified to suit a Banzai Run and won't fit.

I reckon Sys11 rails look great on a FH.  Shame they didn't do it from factory on all games rather than the proto's.
