I have just completed a restoration on a project 'Pro Football'. I know what your going through. All working perfectly now, only cabinet art to finalise. I,ve had a look at the lastest threads & problems your having and may be able to help. I see the problem with the ball in play unit & the ball launcher your having.
Had a look at the sequence when game started with 1st ball in the launcher.

Relay  Q (Add ball count unit) energised
Relay  P (Ball return control relay) Not energised
Relay  O (Ball return Relay) energised

A set of contacts on Relay P drives the score motor which in turn closes contacts @ 4C (top disc), these contacts are normally open. Look at contacts with the (orange-black tracer) wire & (blue-black tracer) wire. These when closed energise the 'Add ball count unit' relay & advance it from the 0-6 position.

Note: If you hold in the 'P' relay contacts by hand it will advance the score motor &  'Add ball count unit' repeatedly.

Hope this helps. GT
