Im a TV tech and the amount of customers that have said " It might just be a fuse" to me over the years I could'nt count. And I still hear " might be a valve or something"
If Ford Fairlane ever sells his Pro Foot Ball he could say " It may be just a fuse or something simple"

Yeah i dont think i could be that deceptive. I would just say that i have no idea on how to fix it. But i would also put on a price i'd be happy to sell it for so take it or leave it
