I reckon it looks pretty good - the person who does the work often has the most critical eyes (except maybe a a paying customer) so maybe you're being too harsh on yourself Daniel? I think we can get carried away because we put all this effort into patching something like that small yellow scrape, we focus in great detail on that. In reality another person walking up to the completed machine to play wouldn't notice anything. I use this test with a non pin fanatic and say to them I've been doing a bit of work on the playfield, does anything stand out? Most don't pick anything, my brother is a builder and has a good eye for detail and he often picks things that I haven't fixed or noticed, yet the patch I've just done stand out like dogs testicles to me. Eye of the beholder and all that.
Out of interest how will you protect that yellow patch? I did some similar works and waxed it - the paint came straight off - grrr.
