'Evening All, A Drop A Card update......... I got lucky picking up a set of repro plastics which were offered at a very reasonable price. I got the game going in the end and changed the flippers back to 2". It plays really well and I like this game a lot. Then I took off that old and tired piece of mylar, and I'm now doing the 'touch-up' paint job on the playfield. You can see by the pics that it has its share of 'issues', but nothing too bad. The worst of it is under the slingshot area where someone had an abortive attempt at placing the holes for the 3" flippers. I bogged and sanded where these holes were and will have to repaint the cream area of the left and right slingshots, as well as the pop bumper area etc. Fortunately there's not a mark on the main art of the playfield. I put in my order at Pinball Resource for front door, entrance plate, pop bumper bodies, yokes, skirts, flippers, coil stops,  etc etc. It's a shame but in order to restore a machine, I always find it necessary to spend 200-300 dollars in parts. I hate rusty doors etc, and buying them is about as expensive as getting it re-chromed so .... I'm leaving the cabinet re-spray till last this time. It looks like fairly simple design so I'm hoping that will be fun. I enjoy doing the cabinets much more since I got hold of an air-brush. I now use stencils on c'board as using that rather than taping things gives a nice amount of overspray and looks more original when finished. I'll take a few pics soon. Cheers, Mark
